With 30 years of journalistic experience with CNN, television stations in Savannah, Ga., Jacksonville, Fla., and New Orleans, and the University of Mississippi, Marvin Williams offers his knowledge and expertise to Ole Miss students as an instructional assistant professor of journalism. Williams earned his B.A. in journalism from the University of Georgia, and his M.A. in journalism and Ph.D. in education from Ole Miss. Williams teaches Introduction to Mass Communications, Multimedia Writing, Broadcast Newswriting and Reporting, Communications Law, Public Opinion and the Mass Media and Media Problems.
