Street Class GuestsThree Meek School alumni, all former students in Robin Street’s public relations classes, spoke to Street’s PR Case Studies Class on Oct. 22, along with a fourth PR professional, about their work as government and non-profit communication professionals.

The three former students are pictured, left to right, seated on the front row. Liz Hogue Densmore, formerly a communications specialist with the Mississippi Department of Health, is now director of marketing for LEC, Incorporated/CellData Solutions in Jackson, Mississippi. Densmore has also worked in communications for the International Ballet Competition.

Selena Standifer is deputy public affairs director for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Standifer previously was a communications specialist for the American Red Cross.

Lillie Flenorl is a communications assistant for the mayor of Memphis, Tennessee. Flenorl previously worked in public relations for the Mississippi Development Authority and as a communications assistant for Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour.

Standing, left, is Debbie Woodrick Hall, a UM Business School graduate. Hall is director of community relations at North Mississippi State Hospital, a behavioral health program of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, in Tupelo. She has also worked for the Girls Scouts and the United Way.
