The Diabetic Shoppe, located in Charleston, Miss., is building a website complete with social media and all the bells and whistles. They are looking for a student to help with that, as well as a newsletter focused on nutrition/healthcare that would involve interviewing patients, doctors, pharmacists and others. Knowledge of general marketing and promotion, new/social media and graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) required. The student would work one or two days a week, some of it remote, but in their office one day per week. Mileage will be reimbursed. He or she may be able to receive internship credit (check with the director of advising first). There is potential for future full-time employment upon graduation.
